Clinical Research Laboratories

Under the VISN 8 IDIQ, Above Group supported the design for the reconfiguration of the basement 1960s-era concrete frame hospital clinical research laboratories to consolidate department functions and improve staff workflow. Much of the state-of-the-art laboratory space is devoted to long, parallel benchtops that flexibly accommodate many investigators and achieve better efficiency than the current compartmentalized design. Smaller rooms line one wall of the space and provide investigator work offices and technician workstations.
